The AAMA Certifying Board must ensure that the scoring of the CMA (AAMA) Certification Examination is consistent with the purpose of the credential and the established standard of competence for the profession, occupation, role, or skill. The results that determine whether a candidate passes or fails go beyond just a percentile, and the AAMA often fields questions as a result.
